CAVEC - The Central America Volunteer Examiner Coordinator - provides amateur radio license exams at multiple test sites throughout the Southeast in the 4th call district. We can also provide other amateur radio license services, such as administrative updates and renewals.
We are one of 14 Volunteer Examiner Coordinators (VECs) recognized by the Federal Communications Commission (FCC). The 14 VECs come together under the National Conference of Volunteer Examiner Coordinators (NCVEC). The NCVEC oversees the exam question pool and provides instructions that allow all VECs to provide a common testing experience regardless of what group is administering your license exam.
No...this is NOT one of our license exam sessions. It is a multi-operator, multi-transmitter station. Stations like this are used for SERIOUS contesting. An Amateur Extra license will almost always be required to operate at one these. Ready to upgrade?
